Formula E Tickets 2023 Sold Out, Jakpro Calls Racing Again Held Next Year

JAKARTA - Ticket sales for Formula E 2023 which will be held on June 3 and 4 tomorrow in all categories sold out. The tickets for electric car racing provided this year amount to 40 thousand, with 20 thousand tickets per day each.

"The enthusiasm of the community for welcoming the Jakarta E-Prix Gulavit 2023 is increasingly showing a positive trend. This is evidenced by the loss of tickets for the 2023 Gulavit Jakarta E-Prix in all categories. 40,000 Formula E fans are ready to crowd and enliven the electric car racing event," said the President Director of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) in his statement, Friday, June 2.

According to Iwan, this year's Formula E ticket was sold out, according to Iwan, showing the public's high enthusiasm for the Formula E race. Iwan also emphasized that the race will be held again next year.

"As a result, Indonesia is again trusted to hold a Formula E racing series by Formula E Operation (FEO). The plan is that next year's race will be held on June 8, 2024. This trust is the fruit of our success in holding the Formula E race in 2022 and this year," said Iwan.

Formula E in Jakarta this year is the 10th and 11th series. On Saturday 3, the race will be held as many as 36 laps. Meanwhile, for Sunday, June 4, the riders will compete in 38 laps.

Formula E drivers will pave the 2.37 kilometer long circuit with 18 corners starting with a tight opening sector after a long journey on the start/finish straight line.

In addition to watching the Formula E race, the audience will also be presented with music concerts from top Indonesian and international artists.

Some of them are Alan Walker, DJ Sergio Berlino, Sam Feldt, DJ KK, Onnie N Friends, Ari Lasso, Rossa, Judika, Slank, Winky Wiryawan, RAN, Cakra Khan, Lyodra, Kla Project, Lea Simanjuntak, Momo Geisha, Angel Pieters, Angger Dimas, and DJ Yasmin. Of course, they will add to the excitement of 2023 Gulavit Jakarta E-Prix.

Formula E viewers are advised to park their vehicles outside Ancol Taman Impian and use the shuttle bus service available.

The Jakarta E-Prix 2023 spectator parking point provided varies according to the purchasing ticket category. Premier Suite ticket owners are provided with parking facilities at the Coasta Villa housing on Jalan Bukit Golf Raya and the Kobexindo field.

Meanwhile, Royal Suite 1A ticket owners are provided with parking facilities at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS). Deluxe Suite 1B ticket owners and Corporate Suites are provided with parking facilities at Hailai Ancol.

Then, VIP ticket owners, Grandstand 2A-21 and the Festival Circuit are provided with parking facilities at JIExpo Kemayoran. However, Ancol continues to open parking areas for visitors. However, the capacity is limited.

Meanwhile, the 2023 E-Prix spectators who parked their vehicles in Ancol were directed to park at the Symphony of The Sea and provided a shuttle bus (Bus Wara-Wiri Ancol), when the parking facilities were full, they were directed to park in other places that had been provided.
