JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin asked bureaucratic talents, who have been specially trained from the talent management process, to have a vision and anti-corruption spirit, including a simple lifestyle, in order to create good governance.
"The talents of bureaucrats who have been specially mapped and fostered should be equipped with the vision and spirit of prevention and eradication of corruption, abuse of authority, and a simple lifestyle," said Ma'ruf Amin in his remarks online at the 2023 National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) with the theme "Talent Management 2030: Smart, Agile, Empathy" in Jakarta, Antara, Tuesday, May 30.
Ma'ruf Amin also asked for a strengthening of collaborative steps in realizing the policy roadmap for national talent management.
He assessed that this step could be taken by mapping the obstacles faced, especially in the last four years, both at the national and regional levels.
Ministries and non-ministerial government institutions (K/L) are asked to formulate concrete steps that are breakthrough, especially in the regulatory aspect that is not yet in line with the implementation of talent management at all levels.
Ma'ruf Amin also requested that the policy of national talent management pay attention to the strategic role of the state civil apparatus (ASN) as the glue and unifying of the nation.
In the short term, the role of ASN as the glue of the nation can be shown through the neutrality and professionalism of ASN in carrying out bureaucratic tasks according to its role and responsibility to face the 2024 General Election and Pilkada.
Closing his remarks, he also expressed his hope to BKN so that optimally he can implement talent management and give appreciation to all ASN for the service that has been given to the state.
On that occasion, the Head of the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) Bima Haria Wibisana said that in the implementation of bureaucratic reform that continues to develop according to the changing times, adaptation is needed not only from the human resources involved, but also from the business processes and the existing systems.
Therefore, through the National Coordination Meeting and at the same time entering the 75th anniversary of BKN, Bima stated that his staff was ready to meet the challenges of the times to present bureaucratic reform for the better in Indonesia.
