JAKARTA - Secretary of the Supreme Court (MA) Hasbi Hasan filed a pretrial lawsuit at the South Jakarta District Court (PN). The submission was made in connection with the status of the suspect named by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
"The classification of the legal case or not of the determination of the suspect," was quoted as saying from the Case Investigation Information System (SIPP) of the South Jakarta District Court, Friday, May 26.
SIPP PN South Jakarta recorded the lawsuit numbered 49/Pid.Pra/2023/PN JKT.SEL. Registration was made on Friday, May 26.
Apart from Hasbi, former Commissioner of PT Wika Beton, Dadan Tri Yudianto also filed a pretrial lawsuit on Monday, May 22. The trial is scheduled to be held on Monday, June 5.
Hasbi and Dadan are suspects in alleged bribery in case management at the Supreme Court. Both of them were questioned as suspects on Wednesday, May 24 but were not detained.
The KPK said that the detention of the two was not a must because they fulfilled the investigator's invitation.
Previously, Hasbi's involvement was detected by the KPK after his name was mentioned in the indictments of Theodorus Yosep Parera and Eko Suparno who are lawyers. Mentioned, he helped in managing the case in the Supreme Court with the intermediary Commissioner of PT Wika Beton Dadan Tri Yudianto.
