JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Hadi Tjahjanto, declared Central Jakarta the 7th 'Fitr City' in Indonesia.

"A city is declared complete if all areas of land are mapped and complete both spatially and juridically," Hadi said in a written statement, Friday, May 19, which was confiscated by Antara.

Hadi said he was optimistic that there would be more Complete Cities in Indonesia in accordance with the direction of President Joko Widodo. It is hoped that 126 million plots of land registered through the Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) program can be achieved.

PTSL has provided an increase in the added value of the economy for Indonesia by Rp5,219 trillion and DKI Jakarta Province contributing Rp120 trillion.

"In 2022, the economic value obtained from PNBP (Non-Tax State Revenue), Rights, Transfer of Rights, and BPTHB (Bea Obtaining Land and Building Affairs) in Jakarta will reach Rp120 trillion. A huge potential," he said.

On the same occasion, Hadi also signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and the Ministry of ATR/BPN in the context of Synergy in the Implementation of Land Registration and Assistance to Prevention and Handling of Asset Land Problems in DKI Jakarta Province.

He also handed over 162 certificates of assets from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government spread across North Jakarta as many as 118 fields, South Jakarta 30 fields, East Jakarta 11 fields, and West Jakarta three fields.

Prior to Central Jakarta, other areas that had become 'complete Cities' were Denpasar, Madiun, Bontang, Tegal, Surakarta and Yogyakarta.
