Cak Imin Affirms Support Prabowo Becomes A Presidential Candidate In 2024

JAKARTA - PKB General Chairperson (Ketum) Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin admitted that he was ready to support Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto as a presidential candidate (candidate) in 2024.

"God willing. If Mr. Prabowo is determined, we are certainly ready to support him," said Cak Imin as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, May 11.

Cak Imin also tolerantly accepted the decision that Prabowo would be promoted as a presidential candidate in the 2024 General Election from the Greater Indonesia Awakening Coalition (KKIR). Therefore, Cak Imin said he would officially announce the decision to the public.

Meanwhile, Cak Imin talked about the position of vice president.

"If the target is the president, but all of us are also presidential candidates," he said.

"We have to learn a lot to get input who knows if we don't become president, vice president," said Cak Imin, talking about his relationship with a number of figures including Hamzah Haz.

Cak Imin sees the vice president as having such a big role in accompanying a president.

"What we must continue to respect, must give high appreciation for the struggle of the vice presidents," he explained.
