Bobby Nasution Make Sure The Road Is Damaged In Medan Is Repaired This Year

The Medan City Government, North Sumatra, will immediately repair all damaged roads in Medan City, both due to construction and for years it has not been repaired.

"Certainly, until today there are still damaged roads in Medan City. Damaged roads occur due to construction, we immediately repair them after construction is complete," said Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 9.

Likewise with damaged roads that for years due to lack of attention, he continued, the Medan City Government immediately repaired the infrastructure.

Bobby Nasution gave an example of the damaged road due to construction at Laguna Lake as a water catchment area in Martubung Village, Medan Labuhan District.

The Central Statistics Agency of Medan City mentioned the length of road infrastructure which has the status of a city road in Medan City, which is 3,017.40 kilometers.

"If it is videoed and reported to the president, maybe the president doesn't think it's not in Medan City," he said.

Bobby Nasution said that the damage to road infrastructure in Martubung follows the ongoing development, including the Dutch trench sheet pile and the Medan Islamic Center.

To provide a sense of security and comfort for road users and encourage economic growth, the Medan City Government has budgeted IDR 1.4 trillion ta this year.

"The Water Resources Office of Bina Marga and Construction Development has budgeted around Rp1.4 trillion for infrastructure improvements, both roads and drainage. Especially for the budget road is around Rp600 billion," said Bobby.

The mayor also promised to repair damaged roads and minimize road damage in the capital city of North Sumatra Province.

"We also tried during the construction, at least the existing roads should not be damaged," said Bobby.
