Corruption Rp3.3 Billion, Kejari Set 3 OKU Bawaslu Officials Suspect

MURADUA - The District Attorney (Kejari) of South Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Regency, South Sumatra named three officials of the local General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) as suspects in the alleged corruption case. Head of South OKU Prosecutor Adi Purnama in Muaradua, said that the three suspects were named as suspects for alleged corruption in the management of simultaneous regional election grant funds in the local district year 2019 to 2021 with a total budget value of Rp. 15 billion. The three suspects, namely HA as the Head of the South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency Bawaslu Commissioner for the period 2019-2021 and BH who served as the Coordinator of the Bawaslu Secretariat from 2019-2023. "Then, CPW as the Treasurer of Bawaslu, South Ulu Regency, 2019-2023," he said, there was a deviation that resulted in state financial losses of Rp. 3.3 billion.

Currently, the three suspects have been detained for further legal proceedings.
