Forensic Examination Results: AKBP Buddy's Body Doesn't Contain Poison And Drugs

JAKARTA - The Forensic Laboratory Center (Puslabfor) of the National Police Headquarters confirmed that it did not find any poison in the body of the Narcotics Head of the East Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Buddy Alfrits Towoliu who died when he was hit by a train at Jatinegara Station, Saturday, April 29. "This is based on the results of the examination of six pieces of evidence received from investigators. We then carried out toxicology examinations," said Head of Forensic Biology Puslabfor Polri Kombes Wahyu Marsudi during a press conference at the East Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters, Monday, May 1. The six items of evidence were in the form of four blood-filled cups, containers containing urine, one plastic containing pieces of organs in the victim, the victim's hair, as well as the results of absorption (swab) of right and left nails victims. "Then from all the evidence we carried out an examination with restrictions because the investigator's request was a toxicology-related examination, so here we limit the examination related to pesticides, arrests, cyanide and alcohol examinations as well as drugs," he explained.

All of the evidence was examined and declared entirely negative. "We dare to conclude that all evidence does not contain pesticides, arrest cyanides, alcohol and drugs," Wahyu said. Meanwhile, the Forensic doctor who handled this case, Dr Asri added, his party did not find the content of illegal drugs in AKBP Buddy's body. "We did a urine test, the results were negative for illegal drugs," he said. However, based on the post-mortem results there were abrasions, fractures and organs ofUCH's body caused by very hard blunt objects. "We conclude, the injuries were caused by blunt objects that were hard due to objects at high speed," said Asri.
