KAI Daop 1: Departure From Jakarta With The Goals Of These Cities Still High

JAKARTA - Kahumas KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Eva Chairunisa said the volume of users of services to various cities departing in the Daop 1 area on Monday, May 1, 2023 was still quite high.

"In total there are around 30,000 departing users with a total of around 19,000 passengers for initial train departures from Pasar Senen Station and 11,000 passengers from Gambir Station," Eva told reporters, Monday, May 1.

Meanwhile, overall passenger occupancy reached 73 percent of the total seating availability.

For today, additional trains are still running, a total of 71 trains departed, of which 32 trains departed from Pasar Senen Station and 39 other trains departed from Gambir Station.

He added, based on data Monday, May 1, 2023, around 721 thousand tickets for the departure of the Eid Transport period from Gambir Station and Pasar Senen have been sold.

"Of these, the majority of orders are made for the departure schedule on a favorite date, namely April 14 to 24, 2023," he said.

Meanwhile, based on ticket data sold on these dates, the occupancy rate of passenger volume has reached 90 to 100 percent with the highest passenger volume departing or peak homecoming flow recorded from April 18 to 23, where the occupancy rate or occupancy of seating on that date reached 100 percent.

The number of destination cities that are favorite choices include Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Purwokerto, Kutoarjo, Semarang, Tegal, Solo, and Bandung.

EVa further added, during the Eid 2023 transportation period from April 12 (H-10) to May 3 (D+10) in total, PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta prepared up to 1 million long-distance train tickets (KAJJ) with 1,513 train trips for departures from Gambir Station and Pasar Senen Market.

"Of these, 303 additional train trips have been ordered since Monday, March 13, 2023. Additional trains are available for a number of favorite connection trips such as Yogyakarta, Semarang, Solo, Blitar, Surabaya and Malang," concluded Eva.
