PDIP-PPP Will Discuss Political Cooperation And Strategy To Win Ganjar In The 2024 Presidential Election

JAKARTA - The United Development Party (PPP) will visit the PDIP DPP office today, Sunday, April 30.

The two parties will discuss agreements related to political cooperation until the strategy of winning the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said the group of parties bearing the Kaaba symbol would be led by Muhamad Mardiono, who is the Acting General Chair of PPP.

They plan to walk because these two parties are neighbors on Jalan Diponegoro, Central Jakarta.

"The PPP DPP group headed to the PDI-P DPP office on foot and was greeted by the PDI-P DPP and then headed to the meeting room," Hasto told reporters, Sunday, April 30.

After that, the event opened with the mars of the two parties and PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri will meet with Mardiono. The meeting will be accompanied by PDIP-PP officials.

Hasto hopes that this activity will run smoothly. Moreover, his party has communicated with PPP Secretary General Arwani Thomafi.

"After being welcomed, the opening ceremony will begin with a Party protocol, where Mars of the two parties is sung, and then a meeting between Pak Mardiono accompanied by the PPP terrace line with Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri with several representatives of the PDI-P DPP," explained Hasto.

Hasto also emphasized that PDIP-PP has a history experience that is not much different. Thus, the meeting will be filled with the spirit of friendship to build political cooperation.

"The meeting will take place with the spirit of friendship considering that the two parties have a long historical track record in building cooperation," continued Hasto.

"Unified by a historical experience that has not been much different since 1973, the two party chairmen will give remarks and exchange ideas between the two parties in order to win the 2024 presidential election. The meeting will end with a group photo," he concluded.
