JAKARTA - PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk respects all investigative processes that are being carried out and is committed to cooperating with the Attorney General's Office. "In connection with the legal case being undertaken, the company's management respects all ongoing investigation processes and is committed to being cooperative and submits all legal processes to the authorities," said Waskita Karya's SVP Corporate Secretary, Ermy Puspa Yunita, in its official statement in Jakarta, Saturday, April 29. He also emphasized that the ongoing legal cases did not have a significant impact on the company's activities, both operationally and financially. Menteri BUMN mendukung langkah penegakan hukum yang dilakukan Kejagung, termasuk saat menetapkan Destiawan sebagai tersangka kasus dugaan tindak pidana korupsi dalam penyimpangan penggunaan fasilitas pembiayaan dari beberapa bank.Penyidik Jaksa Agung Muda Tindak Pidana Khusus (Jampidsus) Kejaksaan Agung menahan Destiawansetelah sebelumnya ditetapkan sebagai tersangka dugaan tindak pidana korupsi.Kepala Pusat Penerangan Hukum (Kapuspenkum) Kejaksaan Agung, Ketut Sumeda, mengatakan untuk mempercepat proses penyidikan, tersangka DES dilakukan penahanan di Rumah Tahanan Negara (Rutan) Salemba, Cabang Kejaksaan Agung selama 20 hari terhitung sejak 28 April 2023 sampai dengan 17 Mei 2023.Peranan tersangka DES dalam perkara ini yaitu secara melawan hukum memerintahkan dan menyetujui pencairan danasupplychainfinancing(SCF) dengan menggunakan dokumen pendukung palsu, untuk digunakan sebagai pembayaran utang-utang perusahaan yang diakibatkan oleh pencairan pembayaran proyek-proyek pekerjaan fiktif guna memenuhi permintaan tersangka.
