PAN Akui Sudah Dijak PDIP Dukung Ganjar Pranowo

JAKARTA - The National Mandate Party (PAN) admits that it has been invited by the PDI-P to support Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate in 2024.

This was revealed by the Secretary-General of PAN Eddy Soeparno in an online discussion entitled 'Tiki-Taka Coalition for Presidential Candidates', Saturday, April 29.

Eddy said that he had communicated with PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto after the party bearing the white-nosed bull announced Ganjar as a presidential reading.

"When Mas Ganjar was appointed as a presidential candidate from PDIP, I contacted Mas Hasto," said Eddy.

Dalam komunikasi tersebut, lanjutnya, Eddy menyebut PDIP mengajak PAN untuk sama-sama mendukung sosok capres yang sama.

"We have a dialogue, how about this 'PAN let's join together with PDIP to carry the same presidential candidate', more or less like that, he said," said Eddy.

Eddy said, so far the relationship between PAN and PDIP is quite close. Moreover, in several regional head elections (Pilkada) the two of them also often work together.

However, Eddy did not reveal whether PAN accepted the PDIP offer or not.

"We are also working well together in the regional elections simultaneously with friends from PDIP," said Eddy.
