Ganjar Pranowo Praises Coordination Of Eid Al-Fitr Homecoming Regulation 2023

Good coordination from the central government and all levels of officers in the field made Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo optimistic that the peak of the homecoming flow would run smoothly.

This was said by Governor Ganjar after reviewing the 2023 Eid Service Post at Mangkang Terminal, Semarang City, Wednesday, April 19. Ganjar said that the current homecoming management was successful in 2019.

"At that time it was quite successful. Good. We just need to replicate," he said.

One of the most influential systems is the implementation of one way set by the Ministry of Transportation and Korlantas Polri.

"The one way model and command from the center are very important but it can be on/off according to our monitoring," he said.

In addition, facilitation of free homecoming is also proven to reduce the number of travelers using private vehicles. Ganjar also strongly recommends that travelers choose public transportation.

"It's fun to use a motorbike but if we look at how crowded and big the vehicle is, it's quite dangerous," he said.

Ganjar said the existence of posts is also important for travelers. In addition to being able to be used to rest, service posts can be maximized to educate the public.

"If they need rest or need to ask questions, we can convey. But the most important thing is that the message is that fatigue is a cure for rest, so it should not be forced," he said.

Ganjar is happy because some of the travelers he meets have their own way of avoiding traffic jams and eliminating fatigue. Awareness of this behavior, said Ganjar, made homecoming safe to its destination.

"So the attitude given by the travelers by building self-awareness is good. He came out, then took a break, then entered again. I think these are ways that can make us safe until our destination," he said.
