JAKARTA - The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya temporarily closed the renewal service of a driving license (SIM) and the manufacture of mobile services as well as at the Daan Mogot Satpas, West Jakarta during the Lebaran 2023 holiday. "On April 19 to 25, 2023, services at the Daan Mogot Satpas DKI Jakarta Satpas unit, SIM units and mobile SIM units in DKI Jakarta were closed," wrote the official Instagram account @tmcpoldametro, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday 16 April. As a result, for people whose validity period of SIM expires from April 19 to April 25, 2023, they can extend the SIM from April 26 to May 3, 2023. However, if the driver who is valid for the SIM expires during the holiday and does not renew it from April 26 to May 3, then the driver is required to make a new SIM. The mobile SIM outlet was opened from 07.00 to 12.00 WIB. This mobile SIM car service can only extend the valid SIM for certain groups, namely SIM A and SIM C.
