JAKARTA - Commission III of the DPR postponed a meeting with the TPPU Committee regarding odd transactions of Rp. 349 trillion because the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD and the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani had other agendas. Today's meeting had to be ended around 17.00 and is planned to be held again after the DPR RI recess. It is known that the DPR will close the trial period on Thursday, April 13, the day after tomorrow. "It's not finished because the Coordinating Minister has other activities, Mrs. Sri Mulyani will also go abroad, but earlier you saw, the Minister has explained what is the issue of Rp. 349 trillion, the amount of which is detailed by the Minister," said Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR Ahmad Sahroni at a press conference at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, April 11. In the meeting, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani confirmed the difference in the data she submitted at Commission XI with what Mahfud MD revealed at Commission III of the DPR. Sri Mulyani emphasized that there was no difference in the data between the two. However, Commission III of the DPR hopes to hold another meeting with Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani to get details of the audit results that have been completed by the institution. "Hopefully this will have a follow-up meeting because earlier there were members who asked for new charts about the results given by the minister, which audit or financial results have been completed by the Minister of Finance," said Sahroni. "So later in the follow-up meeting, maybe during the next session, friends, please, from the Minister of Finance, what is the finalization chart related to the minister's report," he added.
