SOLO - How happy Grandma Bernadhata (87), a resident of Panti Wredha Dharma Bhakti Kasih Surakata. On the moment of Good Friday to the Easter celebration, he received a special guest visit.

Bernadhata and 43 other elderly people were visited by the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo. Together with his wife, Siti Atikoh, Ganjar wanted to visit the elderly in that place while sharing happiness.

The song 'Thank God' welcomed the arrival of Ganjar and his wife at that place. Both of them were immediately warmly welcomed by the elderly who looked excited to get closer to shaking hands. There were also those who asked to take selfies.

"I'm very happy to be visited by Mr. Ganjar. This is a surprise and a very rare moment," said Bernadhata.

Bernadhata admitted that all this time he had only seen Ganjar from television. He did not expect to be able to meet the number one person in Central Java directly this close.

"That's why when I heard that Mr. Ganjar was about to come, we were very excited. From 9 this morning we waited, so excited. I'm happy to finally be able to meet, joking together this close," he said.

Meanwhile, Ganjar deliberately stopped by the Wredha Dharma Bhakti Kasih Home because he was in Solo. He accompanied President Joko Widodo's working visit.

"Incidentally, the President is in Solo, we are still on standby here. This is when Agung arrived for the Easter celebration, there are our grandparents who need attention. So I see this and share happiness with them. They look very happy," he said.

Ganjar sees the happy atmosphere emerging from the faces of the elderly. Even though they are far from their families at a moment like this, they can still be happy.

"Of course I wish you a happy Easter. And I see everyone happy. I just want to say goodbye, they are holding back, sir, don't go home first, I want to sing one song," he said.

According to him, today's atmosphere and moments are very encouraging. He and the residents of the orphanage were entertained in an atmosphere full of joy.

"And this is part of the human spirit that we must build," he concluded.
