Polresta Ensures Easter Series In Bandung Regency Is Safe

JAKARTA - The Bandung City Police (Polresta) ensured that the series of Easter services in their jurisdiction, namely Bandung Regency, took place safely from the time of the White Thursday service, Good Friday, to the Easter service on Sunday.

"The Bandung Police ensures that Christian worship activities for Easter can run smoothly and safely," said Bandung Police Chief Kombes Pol Kusworo Wibowo in Bandung Regency, Friday, quoting Antara.

Kusworo explained that to secure this series of Easter services, 10 to 15 Bandung Police personnel were alerted at each church in Bandung Regency.

"For Bandung Regency, there are 15 church houses of worship. For personnel, we have deployed each church house of worship, we have prepared 10 to 15 people," he said.

To ensure the worship activities in this series of Easters, Kusworo said that officials within the Bandung Police conducted intensive checks on several Church houses in Bandung Regency.

Pada ibadah Jumat Agung ini, Kusworo Wibowo mengatakan pengecekan rumah ibadah dibagi menjadi dua tim yang dipimpin dirinya, sementara tim kedua dipimpin Wakapolresta Bandung AKBP Imron Ermawan.

"The inspection and security of the Good Friday Worship carried out by the Bandung Police, so that the pilgrims can carry out it safely, comfortably and smoothly," he said.
