JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) has engineered traffic at the Santa traffic light, namely at the Wijaya I Street intersection, Wolter Monginsidi Street, and Suryo Street in South Jakarta.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, said that traffic engineering at the Santa traffic light was carried out to break down traffic congestion. Because, this point often occurs in traffic jams.

"The traffic engineering trial activity at the Wijaya I-Jalan Wolter Monginsidi intersection is a traffic management and engineering program carried out in the context of handling congestion in the DKI Jakarta Province," said Syafrin in his statement, Friday, April 7.

Syafrin said that this traffic engineering trial will be held for one week until April 12. traffic from the south (Wijaya I/Antasari Street) heading east (Tendean) is diverted to the Wolter Monginsidi-right corner at the Gunawarman Street intersection - Senopati Street - Suryo Street or can be via Jalan Prof Dr. Sutono- Gunawarman Street - Senopati Street - Suryo Street. In addition, there is a change in the route to the Transjakarta bus route to the 9H Cipedak-Blok route. M as a result of the traffic engineering trial, namely:

"Road users are advised to avoid these roads and be able to adjust the traffic arrangements set, obey traffic signs, instructions from officers in the field and prioritize road safety," added Syafrin.
