Minister Of Health Budi Submitted 3,020 List Of Health Bill Problems To Commission IX Of The DPR

Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin handed over 3,020 problem inventory lists (DIM) obtained from the body trunk of the Draft Health Law (RUU) to Commission IX of the DPR RI. "A total of 1,037 DIMs remain in accordance with the input of the DPR and we propose that it be agreed at the current DPR Working Meeting," said Budi Gunadi Sadikin at a Working Meeting with Commission IX of the DPR which was attended online in Jakarta, Antara, Tuesday, April 5. Budi said, as many as 399 DIMs experienced editorial changes, 1,584 DIMs experienced substance changes which were proposed to be followed up by the Perumus Team, the Synchronization Team and the Working Committee of the DPR RI. The Ministry of Health also reported 1,488 DIMs accompanied by explanations, consisting of 609 permanent DIMs, 14 DIM editorial changes, and 865 DIM changes in substance. Budi said the Ministry of Health supports the Health Bill which is the initiative of the DPR, because it is in line with efforts to transform the Indonesian health system. "The Ministry of Health as the coordinator of the deputy government has prepared DIM together with other appointed government representatives and related ministries/agencies," he said. According to Budi, the Ministry of Health conducts public hearings, discussion forums, socialization, and provision of websites for public participation in providing input on the Health Bill. "This participation is a form of openness to the public in the process of drafting the Health Bill," he said. Meanwhile, the Working Meeting of the Health Bill was chaired by a Meeting chaired by Deputy Chairman of Commission IX of the Indonesian House of Representatives Emanuel Melkiades Laka Lena. Meanwhile, the stakeholders who attended included representatives from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
