Present At Ramadan Gathering With KIB Officials, Prabowo Subianto Throws A Positive Signal: There Is A Match

JAKARTA - Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto admitted that he found common ideas with the leaders of other political parties, especially with political parties in government. This was conveyed by Prabowo after attending the 'Silaturahmi Ramadan' event held by the PAN DPP in Jakarta on Sunday, April 2. "It turns out that there is (equalities), we feel that there is the same frequency, there is a match and if we look at the party leadership, we have entered with Cak Imin, we have entered Pak Jokowi's team all now," Prabowo Subianto said as quoted by Antara. Present at the Ramadan Gathering were the General Chairperson of PAN who is also the Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan, the General Chair of the Golkar Party who is also the Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, the Acting Chairperson of the PPP who is also the Presidential Special Envoy for Poverty and Food Security Cooperation Mardiono, the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party and the Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto and the Chairman of the PKB Muhaimin Iskandar. So that there were two coalitions present at the gathering, namely the United Indonesia Coalition which was formed on June 4, 2022 with members of Golkar, PPP and PAN and the Greater Indonesia Awakening Coalition (KIR) consisting of the Gerindra Party and PKB. "So we are inside to understand the difficulty of development, the challenges we face, next year is not light, there are very dangerous geopolitical conditions in Europe, in Taiwan, it must be'managed' properly, food problems must be'managed' properly. For this we need solid cooperation, the same frequency," said Prabowo. Prabowo also said that the discussion of the political party leaders was more about how to ensure the continuity of development. "I think the people can also see how united we are, harmonious. Earlier, the President (Jokowi) spoke in harmony several times, the people wanted to see the leadership of all cooperation for the people, that's the point," added Prabowo. According to Prabowo, the political parties meeting for the government coalition will continue and become more intense. "For the nomination of presidential candidates, we haven't spoken in that direction, we haven't spoken in that direction," said Prabowo. However, Prabowo acknowledged his electability as a prospective presidential candidate in several surveys to increase because the government was considered successful. "We are part of the government, if the government succeeds, we will go up, if the government is not good, we will go down, I think that's simple," added Prabowo.
