Here Are The Shooting Seconds Of The FPI's Rizieq Shihab's Six Guards

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DPP Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Ahmad Shabri Lubis explained the situation ahead of the shooting of six special laskar guards Rizieq Shihab during the clash at the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.

This chronology was obtained by Shabri from the testimonies of witnesses, namely members of the laskar who were in a separate car from the six soldiers who died, as well as Rizieq's family who joined the group.

On Sunday, December 6 at 22.45 WIB, Rizieq and his family left The Nature Mutiara Sentul Bogor Housing to enter the Jagorawi Toll Road heading to Jakarta. In total, there were 27 Rizieq family groups and 24 members of the laskar.

"The entourage was in four cars of the Habib Rizieq family and four cars of the FPI army," said Shabri in his statement, Tuesday, December 8.

The group passed through the Cikunir Outer Ring Road Toll, taking the direction of the Cikampek Toll Road, heading to the family recitation place in Karawang. Rizieq also plans to restore his health there.

During the trip, Rizieq's group did not recognize a number of cars and tried to overtake to stop the group's vehicle. At that time, it was already early Monday morning.

"Of course, as a guard and security team, the response was to secure Habib Rizieq's group and family by keeping the cars of the intruders away," said Shabri.

After the group exited the East Karawang Toll Gate, one of the Avanza cars carrying the paramilitary troops was stopped, but managed to escape and headed towards the West Karawang Toll Gate, then entered the Cikampek Toll Road and rested at KM 57 Rest Area.

Meanwhile, according to the latest communication, the Chevrolet Special Forces police were surrounded by 3 reconnaissance cars.

At that time, one of the laskar who was resting in the rest area communicated with a member of Laskar, Ambon, who was in the surrounded car. Shabri said there were signs of a shooting threat. Ambon then challenged back to be shot.

"When the Chevrolet car was surrounded, Bang Ambon said 'shoot here, shoot', indicating that someone was pointing a gun at him. After that, he heard the moaning sound of the paramilitary troops who were in pain like being shot," explained Shabri.

"Likewise, Saat Faiz, one of the other soldiers in Chevrolet. When contacted, there was a sound of someone who was in pain as if he had been shot. Instantly, the phone was also cut off, he continued.

The army team driving the Avanza tried to comb the West Karawang toll gate to find traces of the six members who were surrounded. However, until around 03.00 WIB, the paramilitary troops did not find anything.

Shabri admitted that from the incident until Monday afternoon, the 6 soldiers in the Chevrolet car could not be contacted and their whereabouts were not known. Until finally, Polda Metro Jaya announced that the six people had been shot dead.
