COVID-19 Update As Of November 30: New Cases 4,617, Cured Cases 4,725

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) releases the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 today. A total of 40,055 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 4,617 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 538,883 people," the Ministry of Health was quoted as saying, Monday, November 30.

Cases recovered today have increased by 4,725, so that a total of 450,518 people have recovered. Then, the confirmed positive cases who died increased by 130 people and a total of 16,945 people.

The province with the most new cases is in DKI Jakarta with 1,099 new cases and a total of 136,861 cases. DKI Jakarta is also the province with the most accumulated cases in Indonesia.

Followed by Central Java which has 899 new cases with a total of 55,896 cases. West Java has 741 new cases and a total of 48,666 cases. Then, East Java has 400 new cases and a total of 52,517 cases.

The province with the most cases recovered today belongs to West Java with an increase of 1,289 recovered cases. Followed by DKI Jakarta with an increase of 915 cases recovered, West Java with an increase of 703 recovered cases, and East Java with an increase of 319 cases recovered.

Then, there are 3 provinces that reported having no new cases today. The provinces are West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan and Gorontalo.

In addition, the number of specimens examined reached 5,695,747. In detail, a total of 5,594,309 specimens were examined using real time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and 101,438 using a molecular rapid test (TCM).

"The number of positive results per number of specimens examined (positivity rate) was 14.1 percent," he wrote.

Finally, the number of people suspected of having contracted COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, was recorded at 72,786 people. Currently, 505 districts / cities from 34 provinces have cases of COVID-19.
