Bogor Regional Secretary Police Checked For 10 Hours Regarding The Rizieq Shihab Event

BANDUNG - The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bogor Regency Burhanudin was questioned for 10 hours by a team from the West Java Regional Police of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum). Burhanudin was clarified regarding the crowd during Rizieq Shihab's activity in Megamendung, Bogor, West Java.

Burhanudin attended the inquiry for clarification at 10:00 WIB at the West Java Regional Police Ditreskrimum Building, Bandung City, Friday, November 20. The new examination ended at 20.10 WIB.

"We have submitted several clarifying questions asked as the Bogor Regency Task Force, I was asked 50 questions from identity to closing, if Mr. Agus Ridho (Head of Satpol PP Bogor Regency) had 34 questions," said Burhanuddin as quoted by Antara.

After attending the invitation for clarification, the Bogor Regional Secretary hopes that what he explains can become a bright spot for the police in enforcing the law regarding the alleged violation of the COVID-19 health protocol that occurred during Rizieq Shihab's activities, Friday, November 13.

The event was attended by thousands of people who allegedly ignored health protocols. Burhanudin said, there were around 3,000 people who attended the event.

"Information from the field, the masses were from immigrants, if the local residents only watched for a moment, they immediately returned. The info is not the mass from the area, "said Burhanuddin.

As the executor of the Bogor Regency COVID-19 Task Force, Burhanudin asked the public from all elements to be able to exercise restraint during the COVID-19 pandemic. Because especially in Bogor Regency itself, according to him the number of COVID-19 cases has increased.

"Please, with all respect and humility, to the public, let us obey health protocols," he said.

His party also followed up on the crowd by holding a massive COVID-19 check specifically in the Megamendung area.

"We have done it in two villages where yesterday there was an event, Sukagalih Village and Kuta Village in Megamendung, yesterday I also went to the field to monitor, led by the Head of the Health Service, two days from today," he said.
