Petamburan Urban Village Head Positive COVID-19, Kelurahan Closed For Three Days

JAKARTA - The Central Jakarta City Government has closed the services and operations of the Petamburan Urban Village Office because the head of the village, Setiyono, tested positive for COVID-19.

"That's true, the Lurah is positive. So, starting in the next three days, our urban village will be closed," said Central Jakarta Mayor Bayu Meghantara when contacted in Jakarta, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, November 18.

He explained that this closure was in accordance with the DKI Governor Regulation which regulates the Transitional Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB).

During the closure, he continued, disinfection would be carried out inside the Petamburan Village Building to break the chain of the spread of COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the Secretary of Kelurahan Petamburan Sunardi said that during the closing, face-to-face services were eliminated.

However, online services can still take place and the kelurahan also prepares drop box services so that no services are transferred to other kelurahan or sub-districts.

"Face-to-face services are eliminated, but we are preparing 'drop box' services. So people who need to take care of administration can immediately put their files to be processed in the drop box," said Sunardi.

Previously, Lurah Petamburan Setiyanto, Tuesday, November 17, received reactive results after undergoing a rapid test with the antigen swab method before following the clarification process at Polda Metro Jaya for cases of violation of health protocols committed by Habib Rizieq Shihab regarding his daughter's marriage.

Setiyanto was also referred to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital for further examination, namely a swab test to make sure he was infected with SARS-CoV-2 or not.

The results of Setiyanto's examination came out on Wednesday afternoon and the Head of Petamburan Urban Village was confirmed positive for COVID-19.

It is confirmed that the Tanah Abang Community Health Center will carry out case tracing with close contacts, especially those who work in Petamburan Village.
