Calling Rizieq Shihab A Medic, Nikita Mirzani's House Is Guarded By The Police

JAKARTA - The South Jakarta Metro Police conducted patrols and surveillance in the neighborhood of celebrity Nikita Mirzani following her controversial statement regarding the return of the High Priest of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Rizieq Shihab.

"The South Jakarta Metro Police immediately responded to the viral news regarding Nikita Mirzani. From last night our members were already patrolling the residence in question," said South Jakarta Metro Police Deputy AKBP Agustinus Agus Rahmanto in Jakarta, as reported by Antara, Friday, November 13.

Agus said that the security was carried out to anticipate unwanted things following the viral video of Nikita Mirzani's statement calling Rizieq a medic.

According to him, the security was carried out as a form of responsibility for order and security in the community, without any request from Dipo Latief's ex-wife.

"Indeed, there is no special request from the person concerned for the security of his area or the house concerned, but as a guardian of security for the order and the environment, of course we will continue to anticipate things that are not desirable," said Agus.

Agus added that the patrols and security that were carried out were expected to prevent unwanted things from happening after the FPI urged Nikita Mirzani to clarify her remarks regarding Rizieq Shihab.

"We hope that there are no such things as conveyed in the viral news, we hope that everything is under control and there is no friction in the area," said Agus.

When asked about the number of personnel involved in security around Nikita Mirzani's house, Agus said the number was adjusted to the situation and conditions in the field.

"The problem of normative numbers, in terms of seeing the situation, is in the nature of ordinary security," said Agus.

Artist Nikita Mirzani made a statement through her personal Instagram account which alluded to Rizieq Shihab's pick-up which caused traffic jams around Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
