Three Of Our Officers Were Arrested At Different Locations And Times

JAKARTA - Bareskrim Polri arrested three high-ranking officials from the Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (US). The three people arrested were Anton Pramana, Jumhur Hidayat, and Syahganda Nainggolan.

Karo Penmas, Public Relations Division of the National Police, Brigadier General Awi Setiyono, said the three were arrested at different locations and times.

"Yes, Anton (was arrested) yesterday (Monday, October 12). This Friday morning (Tuesday, October 13) was arrested," Awi told reporters, Tuesday, October 13.

Meanwhile, Syahganda Nainggolan was arrested by the Directorate of Cyber Crime (Dittipidsiber) Bareskrim at his home. The arrests took place this morning at around 04.00 WIB.

"He was arrested this morning in Depok, West Java," he said.

However, the matter of the basis for Awi's arrest has not provided detailed information. He only said that Syahganda's arrest was related to violations of the ITE Law.

"Yes, related to ITE," he said.

Meanwhile in Medan, the North Sumatra Police previously arrested the WE HA praesidium. It is suspected that HA was involved in the chaotic demonstration.

"Securing the Chairman of the Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (WE) in Medan, an HA who is known to be the logistics supplier," said the Head of North Sumatra Regional Police, Inspector General Martuani Sormin in a meeting at the official residence of the Governor of North Sumatra in Medan, Monday, October 12.

It is suspected that HA was involved in the riotous demonstration against the Omnibus Law of the Work Creation Law at the North Sumatra DPRD building on October 8 last week.

"Until now we have proven it and the group does exist. For further information, please take time," he continued.
