JAKARTA - One of the witnesses in the fire case of the Attorney General's Office (AGO) building is said to have an account balance of up to hundreds of millions. Even though the witness was a cleaning service . This was revealed in the DPR Commission III working meeting with the AGO.

This question arose from a member of Commission III of the DPR Arteria Dahlan. The PDI-P politician is suspicious of the cleaning service account balance. In fact, he said, every time he was examined as a witness in a fire case, he was always accompanied by the subordinates of the former Deputy Attorney General (JAM).

"Is it true that cleaning service accounts have over one hundred million money. Is it true that he was examined accompanied by his former JAM subordinates," said Arteria during a working meeting with Attorney General ST Burhanudin at Commission III of the DPR, Thursday, September 24.

In fact, said Arteria, cleaning services who work on the ground floor have access to the sixth floor. The floor that was called the origin of the fire source at the AGO Building.

"(Cleaning service) on the ground floor, how come you can get to the sixth floor, which he thinks is not just a cleaning service, can do something. Is it true sir, there is a new appearance in question that is baled. "he said.

He encouraged the police to reveal the intellectual actors of this incident. "It has to be investigated who did it, he said the police were there, who helped do it, who was the intellectual actor, whether it was on purpose or negligence or what was this so that the prosecutor's speculation didn't take too long or what," he concluded.

Meanwhile, Deputy Attorney General for General Crimes (Jampidum) Fadil Zumhana said that the witnesses examined regarding the fire at the AGO's main building were always provided with assistance, the cleaning service was no exception. This accompaniment is intended to give an honest testimony.

"We will accompany the cleaning service so that the person concerned provides a clear and honest information," said Fadil.

The suspected cleaning service witness, said Fadil, was indeed checked several times with a lie detector machine to reveal what was actually known and done.

"Regarding other roles, if there are any later, we will not cover up. We will dismantle whoever the perpetrators, both internally, and contractors who are involved here," said Fadil.

However, Fadil's answer did not satisfy Arteria. The PDIP politician then searched for Fadil regarding the hundreds of millions of rupiah bills and access to the sixth floor of the Main Office of the Attorney General's Office, where the fire was known to have started.

Responding to this, Fadil only explained that the cleaning service does have access to the sixth floor, even though it is on the lower floor. He added that investigators are still looking into why they have access and also money with a large enough value.

"There is access to the sixth floor. During the investigation process, it was reported to the prosecutor whom I appointed but this is in the process of investigation," said Fadil.

"We will understand what the money is and where it will come from later because the investigation process was not yet pro justitia. When this investigation we asked the investigators to reveal where the money came from," he added.
