Raisa Appreciates The 2024 Swara Prambanan Concept That Promotes National Culture On New Year's Eve

YOGYAKARTA - The moment of the 2024 Christmas and New Year 2025 holidays will be lively in Yogyakarta. Holding BUMN in the aviation and tourism sector, PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia (Persero) or InJourney through its Subsidiary InJourney Destination Management (IDM) is preparing a variety of interesting activities to welcome tourists at the turn of 2025, namely Swara Prambanan.

Herdy Harman, Director of Digital and HR InJourney, highlighted the outlook for tourist trends on this year's Nataru holiday. Yogyakarta is still one of the favorite destinations at the moment of the turn of the year.

"Based on a survey by the Ministry of Transportation, the mobility of tourist movements is estimated at 110.67 million people, an increase of 3% from 2023. Known as a festival to enjoy the end of every turn of the year, Swara Prambanan is back offering a different experience with storytelling the story of the legend Roro Jonggrang which is embodied in stunning music and art performances.

Swara Prambanan 2024 is consistent with a storytelling style concept to feature the legend Roro Jonggrang, the folklore behind the splendor of Prambanan Temple. This festival is part of the official year-end holiday program prepared by the Injourney Destination Management (IDM), which is the manager of Indonesian cultural tourism destinations in the Jogjakarta area, namely Borobudur Temple, Prambanan Temple, and Ratu Boko Temple.

Febrina Intan, President Director of InJourney Destination Management, revealed that IDM presents a special work for the Nataru holiday this year with "Your Year-End Holiday Begins in Candi" hashtag #HolidayStartsWithYou to welcome joy in the destination.

"Also with the spirit of warmth during the Christmas and New Year holidays, we are again present at Swara Prambanan a harmonious mix of music, arts, culture and culinary. It is the right choice to spend the moment together with family, friends, and loved relatives at the end of the turn of 2025," said Febrina.

The entire lineup of musicians who will appear is women, representing the character Roro Jonggrang as one of the main characters in the legend. The festival, which will be held on December 31, 2024, features a number of musicians, almost all of whom are well-known women, including Nadin Amizah, Raisa, Mocca, Vina Panduwinata, and JKT48.

Raisa Andriana, a soloist and famous Indonesian songwriter, also gave her best performance at Swara Prambanan.

As a musician, I really appreciate this concept. Moreover, Swara Prambanan made a festival concept based on a local legend story. This concept is very mindful and must be very exciting to be present in person," said Raisa.

Vina Panduwinata also conveyed her impression of being able to appear in Prambanan Temple at the end of the year. "It is an honor for me to be able to sing in a historic location full of beauty and cultural values such as Prambanan Temple, especially with the last sunset theme this year," he said.

The art installation of Rara Kuastra and Putud Utama from the Tempa art group will also be present to enliven this festival, describing the final story of the legend Roro Jonggrang where Bandung Bondowoso was only able to make 999 temples out of 1,000 temples required by Roro Jonggrang.

This festival will be closed with spectacular fireworks to welcome the new year 2025.
