The Rain Re-releases Trained Heartbroken In Kekastik Format

JAKARTA - The birth of the song Tertrain Patah Hati in 2013 is arguably a turning point in the journey of The Rain's music. Over the previous few years, although still productive in releasing works, there was no release of The Rain which was able to match the success of their first album which was released in 2003.

Trained Patah Hati became the beginning of a new chapter of The Rain's journey at that time. Written and started recording since the beginning of 2013, Tertrain Patah Hati had experienced several changes to the arrangement, until The Rain finally invited Stephan Santoso to produce from the initial albums Padi and Sheila on 7 to become the executor in his arrangement.

The Rain also invited Endank Soekamti, a friend of their struggle from Yogyakarta, to fill several vocal parts of the song's chorus.

After being recorded, The Rain offered its masters to many record companies, but none were interested in buying the master of the record.

Not discouraged, The Rain decided to release Tertrain Patah Hati independently through the flag of Heavy Rain Records, a label set up jointly by the four personnel of The Rain, Indra Prasta (vocals, guitar), Iwan Tanda (guitar, vocals), Ipul Bahri (bass, vocals) and Aang Anggoro (drums, vocals).

A decision was the best they made at the time. Shortly after its release, Trained Patah Hati began to dominate radio charts throughout Indonesia, gain millions of views on YouTube, make The Rain's stage schedule congested again, and pave the way for the next various singles such as the song Gagal Hiding and the End of the meeting which also got millions of views on YouTube.

Now, ten years later, Tertrain Patah Hati has become an anthem. A broken-hearted soundtrack that is sung out loud, because the spirit brought by this song is about laughing at the bitterness of life.

Not crying for dashed hope, even though the heart is seriously injured. The former was to be grateful, not regretted, a sentence that Indra often made when The Rain performed this song on stage.

As a thank you to everyone who liked this song, The Rain released Tertrain Patah Hati (Acoustic Version).

"We only realized some time ago," said Iwan, that we have never released this song in the acoustic version.

In the process of cultivating its arrangement, The Rain added several instruments such as violin and chordion so that its acoustic feel feels thicker. Especially for recording all its vocal tracks, The Rain returned to the Slingshot Studio, where they recorded almost all parts of the song Tertrain Patah Hati ten years ago.
