Not Just Participating In, Ady Bans NAFF From Playing His Songs For A Long Time

JAKARTA - Singer Rusyaedi Makmun or better known as Ady ex-NAFF, revealed the story behind the prohibition for the former band to perform his songs.

Ady denied that what was done was just to join other songwriters, like what Ahmad Dhani or Badai ex Kerispatih did.

The subpoena for performing his songs against NAFF was carried out a dozen years ago, not long after he left the band in 2010.

"When I resigned from the NAFF, it hasn't been a year if I'm not mistaken, I once sent a subpoena," said Ady, former NATFF, launching the MANJI world YouTube channel, Thursday, October 12.

At that time, Ady admitted that his father knew the subpoena and reprimanded him.

"The label asked to sit together, then the father found out and called him, he said 'Who are you? How big are you? Do you feel bigger than whom? Why do you have to ban them? Why don't you do it? Why don't you do it? So you're not like a student?" said Ady.

Hearing his father's words, Ady also canceled the summons. He respects what his father said.

However, in 2023, Ady again sent a subpoena against NAFF. He forbade the band to perform 9 songs he made, namely Deposited by Laraku, I Finally Found You, You Are Still My Friend, A.N.G, When Everything Must End, My Life and Death, Not As Beautiful As Love That Should Be, If You Become My Friend Later, And When I Come Home.

For the subpoena this time, Ady admitted that he had asked for his father's blessing. More than that, Ady felt enough for NAT to gain by bringing his songs in every concert over the last 13 years.
