From The Girl Band Member, Ruth Garcia Is Great In A Career

JAKARTA - Ruth Garcia started her career in the Indonesian music industry through the talent search for The Next Boy/Girl Band in 2016.

From this event, Ruth Garcia joined the girl band Soulsisters in 2017. Unfortunately, their music at that time was not accepted.

"At that time unfortunately the influence of K-pop was not as big as it is now, so I transitioned to a soloist," said Ruth Garcia when met at Pondok Indah recently.

Ruth Garcia left Soulsisters' management in 2019, and began to explore her solo career as a cafe singer. She also had time to release a song, but she judged it to be still less serious.

Until finally in 2020 Ruth joined the new management, after she became acquainted with music producer from Passion Vibe, Belanegara Abe.

"I met Passion Vibe, and there was my mother J. I felt the color of the music was the same as the one I wanted to make," said Ruth Garcia.

"Finally, I was helped by Passion Vibe, and I ventured to write songs again," he continued.

Under the auspices of the new management, Ruth Garcia has released five singles. Three of them are solo songs, and the other two are collaborations with Eligung J and Belanegara Abe.

Currently, Ruth Garcia is preparing her sixth single under Passion Vibe. She wants to move from the image of a girl member to a soloist who has his own uniqueness.

"I really want to explore with a new color. The sixth song later, I want to be a special song that shows me very well. So, something different from the previous songs," concluded Ruth Garcia.
