Many People Sell Coldplay Concert Tickets In Singapore Due To Airplane Costs Moving Up

JAKARTA - Social media X (formerly Twitter), was enlivened by netizens who wanted to sell tickets for Coldplay concerts in Singapore in January 2024.

Of the several personal reasons that have emerged, the reason for the increase in aircraft ticket prices from Indonesia to Singapore is the most striking.

Many netizens feel that the cost of accommodation to watch Chris Martin cs in Singapore is too expensive when compared to usual.

"WTS Coldplay in Singapore CAT 7 (24 Jan 2023). Can COD Bandung/Jakarta. Nego. Cicil until the day-to-day H. Airplane tickets and hotels are really going up and I don't think my budget is enough, so I just want to try selling it," wrote one X account, seen Monday, September 11.

"Because we are dizzy by the plane tickets that have soared, let's try first: Want To Sell Coldplay on Singapore January 26th 2024, General Standing," wrote another account.

Other netizens who seem to still want to come to Coldplay concert even took the initiative to exchange viewing tickets in Singapore with tickets to watch in Jakarta in November.

"Eh, does anyone want to barter for Coldplay Singapore tickets with Coldplay Jakarta? Look at the price of plane tickets, why do you want to cry so much, it's already Rp. 3 million one way," wrote another netizen.

Based on VOI's search through the aircraft ticket booking site on Monday, September 11 afternoon, the cheapest price from Jakarta to Singapore on January 21, 2024 was sold for IDR 1,442,490, and the cheapest on September 29 was IDR 1,492,050.

The ticket price for the plane is much more expensive than the same route on the September 17 flight which is sold the cheapest at a price of IDR 567,600.

For information, Coldplay will have a six-day concert in Singapore in January 2024, namely 23.24.26.27.30 and 31 January.
