The Beatles' G-Pluck Leaves For UK-Europe To Spread The Indonesian Flag

JAKARTA - The band specializing in the singer of The Beatles' songs, the G-Pluck Beatles will fly back the Indonesian flag at the beginning of the tour to Great Britain and mainland Europe, Thursday morning, August 17. "On this Independence Day, with the spirit of independence, we also ask for prayers from the people of Indonesia, hopefully our tour series will run smoothly. We are very proud to be able to fly the Red and White back for the second time in England after 2008," said bass player Awan Garnida, quoted from ANTARA. The plan is for the Beatles G-Pluck, a music unit fronted by Garnida Clouds (bass), Gilang Pramudya (guitar/vocals), Fery Gustian (guitar/vocals), Beni Pratama (drums), and Aufa Kantadiredja (keyboard/vocals) to arrive at London's Heathrow Airport, Great Britain, at 14.25 local time. While in England, the Beatles G-Pluck will appear in a number of gigs including Aglestone Avenue London, Cavern Pub and Cavern Live Lounge Liverpool, Cavern Club Front, Crosby Suite Adelphi, and Wave Bar Adelphi. After playing in England, the Beatles G-Pluck will appear on a number of stages in mainland European countries, namely the Netherlands and Germany. In the Netherlands, they will greet Langweer Friesland residents, appear at Bartele'sNER Grou, Cafe de Welp Reduzum, and Tong Tong Fair The Hague. After that, the G-Pluck Beatles continued their tour of Germany to play at the Alte Feuerwache Köln and the Hamburg Club Indra. Not only appearing on many stages, the Beatles G-Pluck also plans to make a number of video clips and photo sessions in several European countries which are historical locations for the Paul McCartney et al. quartet. The G-Pluck Beatles is one of many bands that remember The Beatles in a musical in the form of special live performance and are recognized internationally as the only Indonesian professional Beatles tribute band. "We are very impatient to set foot on the homeland of the Beatles personnel and perform at The International Beatleweek Festival which is very legendary as a big momentum," added Beatles G-Pluck guitarist Gilang Pramudya.

In every appearance, the G-Pluck Beatles did not only look slick and precise in performing The Beatles' songs, however, also improvised according to the character of each of the Liverpool City band's personnel.
