JAKARTA - Drummer Kings Of Leon, Nathan Followill reacted on Twitter following a mass shooting incident at a private Christian school in Nashville.

On Monday local time, six people including three children died at the Kovenan School in Nashville. Quoted from BBc News, the 28-year-old female suspect in the shooting died after arguing with police

In a statement, Nashville Mayor John Cooper said the city had "joined a long list of feared communities to experience school shootings".

"My heart is focused on the families of the victims," Cooper added. "Our whole city supports you."

Sharing his reaction on Twitter, Followill wrote: "The shooting at the school just happened near my son's school. Many children died but let's make sure that the shooter has 2nd Amendment rights. Join you Bill Lee and deal with NRA."

Sending my kids to school shouldn't feel like sending them into a war zone that might keep them from going home. This is all very sad and nothing has ever been done except for thoughts and prayers from people at home cleaning up their assault rifles," he continued.

I'm usually not a political person on social media but it's too close to home. I hope these kids can recover from this unavoidable tragedy.
