Jeep Pull Cherokee Due To Problems With Steering System

JAKARTA - Automotive manufacturer from the United States, Jeep, made a recall or recall on the recent Cherokee model. Reporting from Carscoops, Tuesday, May 23, the types of Cherokee that were affected by the recall were Jeep Grand Cherokee model 2022-2023 and Grand Cherokee L 2021-2023.

The recall was caused by an error in installing the steering wheel. Due to concerns that there was an assembly error at the steering wheel that could potentially lose the steering condition, as many as 89,372 Jeep Cherokee were affected by the recall in the US region.

During the investigation, 15 claim guarantees related to the problem were found in the steering column, but Jeep did not receive reports of accidents, injuries, and error-related deaths at the wheel.

Jeep also analyzed that they found an intermediary axis that was not installed properly and could be separated from the connection, which in the end the car was out of control due to the release of steering control.

Of course this can result in accidents and become a frightening scourge if this happens. Drivers may find out about this problem if they realize there is a noisy sound when turning.

Jeep noted that 53,965 units of Grand Cherokee were affected between 19 October 2021 and 4 April 2023. Then there were 35,401 units of Jeep Grand Cherokee L which were made between 27 January 2021 and 4 April 2023.

To fix this, Jeep will make a recall and will inspect the driver's axis. Jeep plans to start contacting the vehicle owner on July 7.
