Porsche Increases Aerodynamics In 911 GT2 Racing Car At Clubsport Hospital

JAKARTA - Porsche has again strengthened the performance of its race car lineup by releasing the latest GT3, 911 GT3R (992) for the 2023 season, they also released the latest increase from 911 GT2 Clubsport Hospital.

The car, which will later be included in the GT2 European Series racing event, received several updates with the latest evo-kit, which has more consistent performance and improved performance in terms of aerodynamics.

"With the introduction of the Porsche 911 GT2 Clubsport Hospital in 2019, Porsche is one of the pioneers of the GT2 class revival in the automotive world," said Michael Dresser, Director of Sales Porsche Motorsport in an official statement from the company, April 22.

The changes to the aerodynamic part are in the front components featuring the latest aprons with modified air-intakes serving as brake cooling, diffusers, as well as radiators mounted on the center of the front.

The front splitter has also been redesigned so that it can produce more downforce on the front axle, which is combined with higher rear wings, so that the 911 GT2 of the hospital can speed up optimally.

Porsche Motorsport not only improved aerodynamic performance at the 911 GT2 Hospital, but also redesigned 18-inch wheels, modified absorber shocks, and increased safety features.

Dreiser also added that his party was still seeing developments in the Porsche 911 GT2 Clubsport Hospital in the GT2 class and guaranteed that the customer team could compete in the GT2 racing event with updates to this car.

"We are still seeing positive developments in this category and want to give our customers the means to be able to compete at the top of the GT2 race with an evo-kit 911 GT2 Clubsport Hospital," added Dresser.

However, the 911 GT2 (991)-based car has not changed in terms of engine and still maintains the manufacturer's flat-six 3.8 liter twin-turbocharged engine.
