Chery Introduces TJ-1, Tough SUV And Fuel Irrit

JAKARTA - The Chinese car company, Chery has officially introduced the latest off-road vehicle, namely Chery TJ-1 which will be available in the ICE and PHEV barian.

Reporting from Carnewschina, Saturday, April 8, they have many sub brands that are currently focusing on looking for official names from TJ-1, so assistance from the community is needed.

The SUV in plain view has a stiff design but looks tough. This car on the front is pinned with a large grip which in the middle features the big "Chery".

On the interior, available in black and white with multiple buttons, rectangular instrument panels, a 14.8-inch central control screen, a HUD display, and a wireless charging pad on the center console.

TJ-1 is supported by advanced technology from Qualcomm 8155 chip and FOTA technology, facial recognition, and a 2+ driving assistance system.

In the engine, the internal combustion version of Chery TJ-1 (ICE) is equipped with a 1.6T engine combined with a 7DCT transmission. Meanwhile, the PHEV version will be equipped with a 1.5T + DHT hybrid engine which is claimed to be able to emit 156 dk and 220 Nm.

Chery also said that the large SUV has a fuel consumption of 1L/100 km, a range of 100 km of electric power, and in total it can reach a distance of up to 1,400 km of full fuel.
