JAKARTA - One of the personnel of the girl group 'Blackpink, Lisa, received a death threat from someone on social media Twitter. The threat of killing an idol whose real name is Lalisa 'Lisa' Manoban has also become a serious concern of the agency and the Thai Embassy in South Korea.

Launching from the Bangkok Post page, through a Twitter account someone sent death threats to the Blackpink personnel. The threat of murder has also been confirmed by the Thai Embassy to South Korea.

"We have received e-mail reports and messages on Twitter from May 2 to 6, informing about online posts regarding the death threat against Lisa. For this we have informed YG Entertainment the details," an official statement from the Thai Embassy in Seoul.

The embassy will also provide protection and legal assistance to the singer of the song Kill This Love. Not to mention the status, Lisa, who has Thai citizenship, has even become an idol and is domiciled in South Korea.

YG Entertainment, as the agency that oversees the Blackpink group, has also issued an official statement regarding the death threat. YG Entertainment ensures that they will be vigilant and guarantee that they will keep Lisa safe.

"At YG Entertainment, we do our best for the safety and protection of our artists and fans. We are aware of the current situation," said YG Entertainment.
