PLN English Community Program Uses Artificial Intelligence for Employee Independent Learning

JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) is collaborating with ELSA Speak in optimizing employees' English language skills through the PLN English Community, as a program supported by ELSA Speak using AI or artificial intelligence.

This program not only emphasizes independent learning, but also prioritizes interaction and collaboration between employees through virtual platforms. With the help of AI from ELSA Speak, this program can identify the needs of each individual and develop a curriculum that is personally tailored to each participant, as written in a press release received in Jakarta on Sunday.

The positive impact is quickly felt by employees, especially in dealing with daily work and business situations, such as during presentations, public speaking, and delegation of tasks.

The existence of the PLN English Community is also an important part of PLN's efforts to become a global company, with a target of 30 percent of the company's employees being able to communicate well in English.

‘‘PLN English Community is an effective implementation of our strategic steps in providing technology-based English language training to company human resources. "Training is carried out using the blended learning method where ELSA Speak combines technology and native speaker teachers," said ELSA Indonesia Country Manager Yasser Muhammad Syaiful, quoted by Antara.

With this learning method, participants have the flexibility to study whenever and wherever they are.

Not only that, participants are also given the widest opportunity to be involved in regular discussions and interactions with native tutors once a week.
