Rebecca Klopper's Attorney Raised Her Voice Regarding Her Client's Immoral Video

JAKARTA - Rebecca Klopper's name has returned to the public spotlight after news related to her exciting video was spread again. Seeing this, Rebecca Klopper's attorney, Muannas Alaidid, raised his voice regarding the case that dragged her client's name again.

Muannas explained that Rebecca's position in this case was as a victim. This is evident with similar cases that have occurred, women who eventually become the target of society.

"Of course we do not tolerate cases of immoral or pornographic violations. However, if there is a pornography case that appears to the public, it is as if it is women who are always in the spotlight and judged as the main actors. Even though if we look at it based on the chronology in its entirety, it is women who are fully victims as experienced by our clients," said Muannas Alaidid from a media broadcast obtained by VOI, Friday, October 20.

Moving quickly, Muannas admitted that he had reported this to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Headquarters. Until now, his party is still coordinating with the police where they have provided several accounts that are suspected of participating in distributing the video.

"We have reported the case to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Headquarters with article 27 paragraph (1) Jo. Article 45 (1) of the ITE Law. Until now, we continue to coordinate with Law Enforcement Officials and continue to monitor its development. Several accounts of the spreaders have been found and will soon be processed, including supporting evidence. we have also submitted it to investigators," he continued.

Furthermore, Muannas has also taken other legal actions by visiting Komnas Perempuan to ask for legal opinion and protection. This was done because Muannas believed that Rebecca was a victim.

"In addition, we also focus on the support and recovery of Rebecca as a victim. On October 19, 2023 yesterday, we came to Komnas Anti-Violence Against Women to make complaints regarding this case and were welcomed by Komnas Perempuan. In addition, we have also made a request for protection to the Witness and Victim Protection Agency and to the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection," he explained.
