Ferry Irawan's Explanation About The Remissions That Made Him Free Earlier

JAKARTA - Ferry Irawan had to be detained due to a case of domestic violence (KDRT) on January 16. Through a trial at the Kediri District Court, he was found guilty and had to serve a 1 year prison sentence.

However, Ferry Irawan was released on August 17 yesterday, five months earlier than the sentence handed down by the judges of the Kediri District Court. It is known that the 46-year-old man received remission for Independence Day.

Ferry Irawan said that he received the Independence Day remission on August 17 at noon, and he was immediately released on that same day.

"Yesterday (17 August) I had a ceremony early in the morning, I was appointed as a representative of the recipient of the remission," said Ferry Irawan to the media crew at Halim Perdanakusuma, East Jakarta on Friday, August 18.

"After the ceremony, I had activities as usual, and the afternoon I was told that my remission was approved," he continued.

Ferry Irawan felt that he had seven months in detention as a period that gave him many life lessons. He got a lot of things he called God's blessing.

"Masha Allah, I was given blessings, pleasure, in a place that might be seen for some people to see it with one eye, but Alhamdulillah, there is a lot of blessings that Allah has given," he said.

When he wanted to be asked further about the remission he received, Ferry Irawan did not answer. Sunan Kalijaga's lawyer who was also present asked the media crew to end the question and let Ferry Irawan and his family return home.

"Friends, I'm very sorry, mami is tired, Mas Ferry may also want to (get together) with his family first," said Sunan Kalijaga.

On the other hand, on a different occasion, Jeffry Simatupang as Ferry Irawan's attorney also did not explain the remission his client received. He only hopes that Ferry can start reorganizing his life after the case he faced.

"The point is just pray for the best. And Mr. Ferry has already accounted for everything in front of the trial. Currently Mr. Ferry is an independent person," said Jeffry Simatupang.

"And it needs to be underlined, Mr. Ferry will focus more on managing himself and his career. Once again, please pray, may God give the best. Regarding the case that Mr. Ferry has faced, Mr. Ferry has buried these difficult times and will no longer want to focus on these things," he said.
