Following His Son, Tora Sudiro Fans BLACKPINK

JAKARTA - The charm of BLACKPINK does not seem to be a magnet for teenagers and young people. Tora Sudiro, an actor who is 49 years old, was also fascinated by the group consisting of Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa.

Through her Instagram account, her husband from Mieke Amalia uploaded a video featuring Blackpink in Carpool Karaoke which is a segment of the United States television program, The Late Late Show with James Corden.

"After seeing them during Eid, their oath is really cool," wrote Tora Sudiro on his Insta Story, seen Wednesday, April 26.

Before expressing his admiration for Blackpink, Tora had given a special gift to his son, Jenaka Mahila, who was known to be a fan of the South Korean group.

To celebrate the release of his son's new song, Tora modified his motorbike in pink and black which was synonymous with the color of Blackpink.

"The gift of the celebration of Jenaka Mahila's new single is to compete with children," Tora wrote in his upload caption.

Blackpink, who guest starred Carpool Karaoke, sang some of their hits, such as Pink Venom, DU DU DU DU DU and How You Like That. They also sang songs from other girl groups such as No Scrubs from TLC and Wannabe from Spice Girls.

Not only singing, James Corden and Blackpink also talked about the early days when members were still a trainee.

Rose told how the members had a training period at YG Entertainment when they were teenagers.

"We start at 11 (in the afternoon) and we continue to practice until 2 (at night)," said Rose.

James Corden also asked members who were not born in South Korea about how they started living in the Ginseng Country.

Rose admitted to leaving Australia alone for South Korea when he was 16 years old. Meanwhile, Lisa left her family in Thailand when she was 14 years old.

"I'm still very small and I can't even speak Korean," said Lisa.

James Corden and Blackpink also talked a lot about the moment when Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa were teenagers undergoing training before officially debuting as idols.
