Leaving Group, Jesy Nelson Doesn't Talk 2 Years With Little Mix

JAKARTA - Jesy Nelson admitted that she had not spoken to Little Mix for a long time. Three years since she decided to leave, Nelson has never communicated or just shared news with the three members.

In an interview, Nelson felt he had to leave the group to prioritize his mental health.

Being in a group, you are a machine that operates all the time. You don't have time to breathe and take time to rest. That's something I'm experiencing," Jesy Nelson told The Independent.

"For me, mental health is something I experienced when I was in Little Mix. I had a hard time with my body. I kept getting blasphemy - and I found it difficult," he said.

However, Jesy Nelson doesn't regret spending time with Little Mix. Nearly 10 years of careers with the group made him grow up to be a better person.

"I have no regrets because I did what was right for me and I will always remember the memories I had with Little Mix," said the Boyz singer.

"So, I didn't talk to them. I wish them all the best and their solo journey now," he said.

She praised Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock as talented women. Nelson believes the three Little Mix members have had a brilliant solo career.

"We all have different musical styles. I support them all. To be honest I wish them success because they are very talented," he said.

Jesy Nelson became part of Little Mix in 2011. Then he left Little Mix a few months after releasing the album Confetti. He left in December 2020 and made the group go on a world tour with three members.
