Hud Filbert Arrested After Drug Party: Any Other Artist Involvement?

JAKARTA - The soap opera actor Hud Filbert became a suspect in drug abuse after he was arrested by the West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit on Friday, April 14 in the morning.

West Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Muhammad Syahduddi said that the arrest of Hud and six other suspects was carried out after the suspects had a drug party.

"The use of these narcotics is for drug parties," said Muhammad Syahduddi during a press conference at the West Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters on Monday, April 17.

Apart from Hud Filbert, it is known that the other six suspects did not come from the Indonesian entertainment industry, but Syahduddi did not explain further about the background of the suspects.

Ditanyai lebih lanjut adanya keterlibatan artis lain dalam kasus narkoba kali ini, Syahduddi mengatakan pihaknya masih melakukan pendalaman.

Syahduddi said that currently his party is still looking for Hopower, a seller who is still in the status of a wanted list (DPO).

"On behalf of Si Hopower, if this is possible, we can develop it that way," said Syahduddi in response to the possibility of other artists being involved.

"What is clear is that the team is still on the ground hunting for the perpetrators and it is possible that they are still in the Jakarta area," he continued.

Regarding the continuation of the legal process against Hud Filbert and six other suspects, Shyahduddi said that he would conduct an assessment of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN).

"Regarding these seven perpetrators, we will submit an assessment to BNN. Regarding whether they will be rehabilitated or continue with the trial, it depends on the results of the assessment from BNN," he concluded.
