Leaving Bali, Jessica Iskandar Returns To Stay In Jakarta For These Two Reasons

JAKARTA - Jessica Iskandar has lived in Bali since 2020. In fact, after marrying Vincent Verhaag on October 22, 2021, the two chose to stay on the Island of the Gods.

However, both of them decided to stay and settle in Jakarta in the near future. Jedar, Jessica Iskandar's nickname, said that her husband received a job offer in Jakarta.

Despite admitting that he was eager to stay in Bali, Jedar wanted to accept her husband's invitation to settle in Jakarta to be closer to his father, who is now old and is starting to get sick.

"Vincent turns out there was an offer of work in Jakarta, then Vincent also said theles were more of my parents who were old. Then he said 'how can we go if we can go to Jakarta again so that you are closer to your papa'. Because my papa is sick, right, so he's also 73 years old," said Jessica Iskandar when met at Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta on Tuesday, April 4.

Jedar said the total transfer of his family would occur in the middle of this year. Currently, only a few items he has moved from Bali to Jakarta.

The reason is the child, El Barack, who is currently still in school. He did not want his eldest son's education to be disturbed.

"The most important thing is that El Barack is still in school in Bali, still completing the grade 4. Later, he will move up to grade 5. Because if he moves in the middle, the class has not increased, it's a hassle. So we finish the school first, "said Jedar.

Jedar himself admitted that he had no problem living in Bali or Jakarta. For him, the most important thing is to be near the people he loves.

"I'm very grateful, happy, let's move (to Jakarta). But the point is, wherever I live, as long as my husband and children are with me, I'm just comfortable," concluded Jessica Iskandar.
