Sol Kyung Gu Calls Kil Bok Soon Film Has Action And Melodrama

JAKARTA - Sol Kyung Gu acted through the latest action film titled Kil Bok Soon. This film is the third collaboration with director Byun Sung Hyun. According to him, this title is the most colorful film of their collaboration.

"This is my third collaboration with him since The Safety. I think I like his performance and it's not about him (Byun Sung Hyun) but I also like his crew work. I think this is the most colorful," said Sol Kyung Gu at a Kil Bok Soon press conference some time ago.

Byun Sung Hyun finds it difficult to invite the veteran actor to join the film Kil Bok Soon. This is because trust from each other makes the process easier.

"I didn't ask Sol Kyung Gu and we didn't communicate much. And he said to come home and bring the script. I also don't explain so much about the film," said Byun Sung Hyun.

"We have that trust (between each other)," he explained.

In the film Kil Bok Soon, Sol Kyung Gu plays Cha Min Kyu, director of MK Ent, the agency that handles murder contracts.

MK Ent is a top company and Min Kyu is like God there, controlling all sides but there are exceptions. The exception is Kil Bok Soon and he always wants Bok Soon by his side," said Sol Kyung Gu.

"When Bok Soon rethinkes the contract extension, he wants Bok Soon as his "sword" whatever happens," he explained.

Sol Kyung Gu explained that the film Kil Bok Soon emphasized thelevity side he played. In addition to action, the actor also mentioned that there is a romantic side between Bok Soon's character.

"He's very strong but when it comes to Bok Soon, he's very soft. So he kind of has blind love. This film is full of action, I also have some action scenes but for me it's more about romance with Bok Soon," said the Grand Bell winner.

Kill Bok Soon tells the story of two worlds that Boksoon is played by Jeon Do Yeon. Inside the house, she is a good mother for her child, Yeong Ji (Lee Yeon).

However, Boksoon is a different figure outside the house. He is a legendary assassin under an elite assassination agency called the Constitutional Court Ent. He was able to use various weapons such as axes, pistols, ropes to fight against his enemy.

The film Kill Bok Soon will be released globally via Netflix today, Friday, March 31.
