The Boyz, IZ * ONE, And MONSTA X Join The UNIVERSE Platform

JAKARTA - A new platform was released by NCSOFT, a game company from South Korea called UNIVERSE.

UNIVERSE is a platform where K-pop groups or musicians can interact with fans directly. In addition, this application provides exclusive content that only fans can access.

In South Korea, interaction with fans is needed as the COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing. Since fans cannot attend the stage or concert, online communication is an option.

Three K-pop groups: MONSTA X, IZ * ONE, and The Boys are confirmed to join the UNIVERSE platform. Later, they will connect with fans through various content both videos and photos.

The video teaser released via YouTube shows a hint of content to be provided and The Boyz invites fans to seek answers via UNIVERSE.

Currently, UNIVERSE is available in 134 countries in three languages. Fans can pre-register to be the first to use UNIVERSE.

Previously, SM Entertainment was the first to release a similar platform called Lysn. Through this application, fans can get content such as chat sent directly from idols under SM such as Super Junior, NCT, EXO, and others.

Then Big Hit Entertainment followed by making Weverse which had a concept like Lysn and UNIVERSE. Apart from BTS and TXT, artists who use Weverse are GFRIEND, SEVENTEEN, CL, Sunmi, and Henry.
