JAKARTA - The production house of Paramount Picture, keeps its promise to revise the character designs of Sonic the Hedgehog. Through his latest trailer, the blue hedgehog appears with a new design that follows the game's character.
This original Sonic design was completely overhauled, because it received criticism from its fans when the teaser for the film of the same title was shown last May. Since then, Paramount and Sega have postponed the release of the film until next year.
By design, many changes have been made by Paramount to the new Sonic look. The first thing is the Sonic animation style which looks more cartoonish than the original design.
In the previous design, the Sonic animation style was made more realistic and did not resemble the blue hedgehog character in the Sega game. This was greeted with a positive reception, Yuji Naka Sang is the creator behind the blue hedgehog mascot.

The director, Jeff Fowler, also expressed his gratitude for the criticism and input from Sonic fans to improve the appearance of the blue hedgehog in the film. Through his personal Twitter account, he revealed that this is the first time the production house has listened to criticism of the fanbase.
