It's Okay To Not Be Okay, Drama Korea Comeback Kim Soo Hyun
JAKARTA - After the ending of When My Love Blooms, the Korean drama It's Okay to Not Be Okay will air on June 20. A melodrama genre, this drama stars Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji who will be in a project for the first time.
It's Okay to Not Be Okay tells the story of the relationship between Moon Kang Tae (Kim Soo Hyun), an employee in a psychiatric ward and Go Moon Young (Seo Ye Ji), an anti-social children's story writer.
Ahead of the broadcast, the It's Okay to Not Be Okay players gathered to share their opinions about their latest project.
Park Shin Woo as the director included several fairy tales such as The Red Shoes and Bluebeard for this drama. This is done because the female lead is a storybook writer who has a taste for storytelling similar to some of these fairy tales. This fairy tale is a mixture of normal and abnormal.
Kim Soo Hyun, who recently returned after serving in the military, is nervous about his latest project. “This is the first time doing something like this in a long time. Even I feel awkward when I hold the microphone. " However, he was chosen by a director who idolized the actor who was born on February 16, 1988.
Asked about competing roles with Seo Ye Ji, Soo Hyun said the two felt comfortable with each other. They both praised each other's seriousness in playing the characters Go Moon Young and Moon Kang Tae.
Besides Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji, It's Okay to Not Be Okay played by Oh Jung Se and Park Gyu Young. From several teaser photos shared by tvN, the meeting between Moon Kang Tae and Go Moon Young looks serious and lacks friendliness.
