KPK Pamer Reveals Rafael Square Corruption To Eko Darmanto Through LHKPN Examination
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed its success in handling a number of corruption cases through the examination of the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN).
One of the prominent cases is the alleged gratification involving former officials of the Directorate General of Taxes at the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu), Rafael Alun Trisambodo.
"Several corruption cases originating from LHKPN examinations and successfully handled by the KPK include receiving gratuities by public officials," said Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Johanis Tanak, at a press conference on the performance of the KPK Leadership for the 2019-2024 period, Tuesday, December 17.
Apart from Rafael Alun, the KPK has also named two other public officials as suspects for alleged receipt of gratuities and money laundering (TPPU), namely former Yogyakarta Customs Chief Eko Darmanto and former Makassar Customs Chief Andi Pramono.
The third case emerged after their assets received public attention due to a luxurious lifestyle on social media.
Rafael Alun's case became more controversial after his son, Mario Dandy, was involved in a case of abuse of minors that caught the attention of netizens.
Johanis emphasized that LHKPN examination is not only an instrument for preventing corruption, but is also used to enrich data in the development of corruption cases.
"We take advantage of the results of LHKPN analysis as input to explore corruption," he said.

"Since its launch, this service has been accessed by 7,358,341 people until 2024," added Johanis.
Through the involvement of the community and optimization of LHKPN, the KPK hopes that the eradication of corruption in Indonesia can be more effective and transparent.
